i-health directory for QUEENSLAND
IHealth Care Directory is the new approach to health communications in Queensland for health service providers. This web based directory will ultimately be a central and authoritative source of health providers contact details to enable secure communications of patient information across Queensland. iHealth Care's aim is to improve communication between GPs, specialists, allied health professionals, pharmacists, hospitals and aged care facilities. There are two initial services provided by iHealth- the iHealth Care Directory, which lists contact details for health providers in Queensland, and a free secure messaging service provided by Medical-Objects.
Health Providers can register with iHealth to be listed on the directory and gain free web access via a provided password. Any health related organization or private practitioner delivering patient care who has a need to communicate with GPs specialists or allied health professionals about their patients will benefit from access to the directory. Health providers will also gain access to up-to-date information maintained by iHealth Care and your local Division of General Practice.
